Apply plastic adhesion promoter primer to plastic car parts where the paint has been completely removed when scratched or chipped to stop the paint from peeling off when touch up paints are re-applied. It is imperative that the adhesion primer is applied before spraying new parts that are plastic, these items include bumper bars, mirrors, garnishes, door handles & moulds.
The adhesion promoter is a thin runny solvent solution designed especially for plastic substrates and careful application technique needs to be used when applying the substance to avoid runs or over flow known as sagging or curtains. Only one even medium to wet coat should be sufficient. Note: Prep-it wax & grease remover must be applied before the use of the sensitive plastic promoter to avoid silicon or better known as fish eyes. Be sure to tac rag the substrate before applying and paint products for perfect finishes.
