Color Tips & Tricks: Did you know that many scratches can be removed without color just by using the clean-up, blemish remover. It is often thought that color is needed for all scratches. If the scratch is distinctly discolored and either bare metal or bare plastic can be seen then the color will be definitely needed, but we recommend primers are applied first for permanent repairs.
How To Use The Non Metallic Solid Car Color Correctly
1) Clean damaged areas with a cleaning agent using clean-up or Prep-it.
2) Shake paint color contents well.
3) Remove cap and squeegee brush.
4) Check the color is correct.
5) Apply 1 or 2 coats of Brush Touch Non Metallic Color only to the fully discolored areas of damaged paint where the paint layers including the color coat has been completely removed.
6) Allow 3 minutes drying time in between coats in good weather.
Color Non Metallic Tips & Tricks: If you have impact residue (paint transfer) that did not come off with solvent or blemish remover, apply one or two coats of color directly on only the discolored area.
